Celebrate Eid Al Adha 2026 at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque: A Guide to Festive Activities

Mon, May 25, 2026(1h ago)UAE

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre has unveiled an extensive schedule of festivities for Eid Al Adha, running from May 27 to May 29, 2026. To mark the occasion, the mosque will host special Eid prayers and fill the air with traditional takbeer throughout the complex. Guests can enjoy exclusive cultural tours led by expert guides, offering rare access to private areas of the mosque while highlighting the significance of Hajj, Islamic traditions, and the local custom of Eidiya.

Families can also explore the Nour Wa Salam Museum, which provides an interactive look at Islamic history and craftsmanship, or experience the stunning 360-degree projections at the Diya exhibit. For those looking to spend the day, Souq Al Jami' offers a dedicated family space featuring nearly 70 retail and dining options, alongside children’s play areas. Visitors are welcome daily from 9 am to 10 pm, while those seeking a unique perspective can book the "Sura" night tour, which remains available from 10 pm to 9 am throughout the holiday weekend.
