UAE weather: Clouds and potential rain expected across the Emirates

Mon, Oct 12, 2026(2h ago)UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted fair to partly cloudy conditions for the UAE this Monday, October 12. While the day will start pleasantly, residents should prepare for convective cloud formations during the afternoon, particularly in internal and eastern regions. These weather patterns bring a localized chance of rainfall, with Dubai, Al Ain, and Sharjah identified as areas that might experience showers.

As we head into the night and early Tuesday morning, humidity levels are expected to rise, potentially leading to fog or mist in western parts of the country. Wind speeds will remain light to moderate, though gusts could occasionally reach 45 km/hr, which may stir up dust in some spots. With daytime highs peaking at 39°C in Abu Dhabi and 38°C in both Dubai and Sharjah, residents should expect a warm day, while sea conditions are projected to stay relatively calm across the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
