Global Village Season 31: RTA Launches Expanded Transit Links

Tue, Oct 13, 2026(1h ago)UAE

As Global Village gears up for its 31st season, running from October 14, 2026, through May 2027, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has confirmed the return of its popular direct bus services. Visitors can take advantage of four dedicated routes connecting major hubs—Al Rashidiya, Union, Al Ghubaiba, and the Mall of the Emirates—directly to the attraction. These buses are scheduled to run at intervals of 40 to 60 minutes, ensuring that families and tourists have a reliable, stress-free way to reach the festivities without relying on private vehicles.

In addition to the expanded bus network, the RTA is bringing back its scenic electric abra rides within the Global Village grounds. These eco-friendly water taxis offer a relaxing way for guests to tour the site’s waterways while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. By integrating these convenient public transit options and sustainable water transport, the RTA continues its commitment to improving accessibility and promoting greener travel across Dubai’s premier entertainment destinations.
