KT Desert Drive 2026: Dubai Hosts Its First Off-Roading Adventure

Tue, Oct 13, 2026(1d ago)UAE

If you have been looking for an excuse to take your 4x4 off the city pavement, the eighth edition of the KT Desert Drive is the perfect opportunity. Scheduled for November 14, this year’s event marks a major milestone as it makes its debut in Dubai at the Bab Al Shams Arena. Unlike standard desert safaris where you simply sit back and watch, this experience puts you in the driver’s seat. Whether you are a seasoned pro or a casual SUV owner, you will get to navigate a designated, marked route through the golden dunes with professional support teams on hand to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Early-bird tickets are currently available via Platinumlist with pricing starting at Dh300. The event is designed to be a complete day out for families and friends, featuring plenty of entertainment, food, and organized activities beyond the actual driving. While you will need to bring your own 4x4 to participate, it’s a fantastic way to test your vehicle’s capabilities in a safe, controlled environment backed by the Emirates Motorsports Organization and Dubai Sports Council. Please note that children must be between the ages of five and 12 to join the fun, making it an ideal weekend escape for those looking to swap traffic jams for desert vistas.
