Sharjah International Book Fair Enhances Visitor Experience for 2026

Tue, Oct 13, 2026(1h ago)UAE

The 45th Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) is set to offer a more seamless experience for attendees this November, with organizers introducing free shuttle bus services and significantly increased parking capacity. Running for 12 days beginning November 4, the event aims to accommodate a massive influx of readers and families, ensuring that the logistical side of the fair matches the scale of the global celebration.

This year’s edition is truly international in scope, hosting over 2,000 publishing houses from 124 different countries, including first-time participants like Angola, Myanmar, and Niger. With Oman serving as the official Guest of Honour, the fair continues to solidify Sharjah’s reputation as a premier destination for the global publishing community. By streamlining access to the venue, the Sharjah Book Authority hopes to make this milestone 45th anniversary one of the most accessible and engaging chapters in the event's history.
