Sharjah Resident Strikes Gold: Wins Dh5 Million in UAE Lottery

Wed, Oct 14, 2026(2h ago)UAE

A 59-year-old Indian expatriate living in Sharjah is celebrating a life-changing windfall after securing the Dh5 million second prize in the UAE Lottery’s Lucky Day draw held on October 3. Kishore, the lucky winner, initially doubted his luck when he first spotted his name in news reports. It wasn't until he logged into his official lottery account and verified the results himself that the reality of his massive win finally set in.

Kishore purchased his ticket for just Dh50 using the platform’s "Easy Pick" feature, which randomly generated the winning combination of 4, 5, 12, 14, 17, and 18. By matching these six numbers during the Saturday night draw, he successfully claimed the second-tier prize. While the grand prize of Dh30 million—which requires matching an additional Lucky Month number—remains up for grabs during the twice-weekly draws, Kishore’s victory marks another significant milestone for the popular UAE-wide lottery game.
