UAE Weather Update: Rain Forecasted as Temperatures Climb to 37°C

Wed, Oct 14, 2026(2h ago)UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted a mix of fair and partly cloudy skies across the UAE for Wednesday, October 14. While the day will start off pleasant, residents should prepare for convective cloud formations by the afternoon, particularly over eastern and western regions, which may bring some light rainfall. Coastal and inland areas should also brace for increased humidity overnight and into Thursday morning, which could lead to localized fog or mist.

Temperatures are set to reach highs of 37°C in Dubai and Sharjah, while Abu Dhabi could see the mercury climb to 39°C. Alongside the heat, winds are expected to remain light to moderate, though they may gust up to 40kmph near cloud formations, potentially stirring up dust. The NCM has advised that this week’s weather pattern could bring occasional heavy showers and thunderstorms, so it is best to stay alert if you are heading out as the atmospheric conditions fluctuate.
