Abu Dhabi Shuts Down Cafeteria Over Recurring Health Violations

Fri, Oct 16, 2026(2h ago)UAE

The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has ordered the immediate closure of 'Let’s Talk Riz Corner Cafe' in the Khalidiyah district. The decision was made after the establishment repeatedly ignored food safety regulations, creating a significant risk to public health. According to officials, the cafe failed to implement necessary corrective measures despite previous warnings, forcing the authorities to step in to protect consumers and ensure standards were upheld.

The facility will remain shuttered until it can demonstrate full compliance with Abu Dhabi’s strict food safety laws. Once the management addresses all identified violations and meets the necessary health requirements, they may be permitted to resume operations. In the meantime, ADAFSA continues to conduct routine inspections across the city as part of a broader initiative to maintain public health standards. Residents are encouraged to report any food safety concerns or suspicious practices by calling the toll-free number 800555, allowing inspectors to investigate and take swift action.
