Abu Dhabi is preparing for a whirlwind of activity to round out 2026, beginning with the return of Power Slap 25 to the Space42 Arena on October 23. This highly anticipated event features a heavyweight title rematch between Dayne “Da Hawaiian Hitman” Viernes and Vasilii “Dumpling” Kamotskii. Beyond the world of slap fighting, the capital is set to host a diverse array of entertainment, including professional golf at the Aldar Championship, the Taste of Abu Dhabi culinary festival, and the regional debut of Real American Freestyle wrestling. Music lovers also have plenty to look forward to, with upcoming performances by Hans Zimmer, Tarkan, and Ramy Sabry, alongside a packed schedule for the Abu Dhabi Comedy Season.

The momentum continues into December, highlighted by the prestigious Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the Yas Marina Circuit. The race weekend will be complemented by a star-studded Yasalam concert lineup featuring Imagine Dragons and Lewis Capaldi, plus a special performance by Andrea Bocelli. With theme parks and family-friendly festivities also on the agenda, Abu Dhabi is poised to build on the massive success of 2025, when Yas Island saw over 44 million visitors. As the city cements its status as a global hub for sports and entertainment, residents and tourists alike can expect a vibrant end to the year.
