Cyclists participating in this year’s Dubai Ride have more than just a scenic route to look forward to, as organizers have introduced the inaugural "Dress Your Ride" competition. With a total prize pool of Dh40,000, participants have the chance to win Dh10,000 across four distinct categories: best overall bike, most creative theme, best family costume, and best group outfit. To enter, riders simply need to decorate their bicycles or wear inventive costumes and ensure they are spotted by official event photographers while pedaling past iconic landmarks like the Burj Khalifa and the Museum of the Future.

The sixth edition of the Dubai Ride, set for November 1, marks the grand opening of the 10th Dubai Fitness Challenge. This community-focused event offers a 12km track for experienced cyclists and a 4km family-friendly loop for all ages. As this is a non-competitive ride, safety is a priority, with a 25km/h speed limit strictly enforced for all participants. Those interested in joining must register online at the Dubai Fitness Challenge website to secure their spot, and bib collection will take place at Zabeel Park from October 28 to 31.
