UAE Weather Forecast: Rain and Fog Expected This Tuesday
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather update for Tuesday, October 20, forecasting a mix of sunshine and rainfall across the UAE. While the day will start off with warm temperatures, convective cloud formations are anticipated to build over the eastern regions by the afternoon. These clouds are expected to spread toward inland and western areas, bringing a high likelihood of rain. Despite the unsettled weather, the heat remains noticeable, with mercury levels predicted to climb as high as 41°C in certain spots, while Abu Dhabi and Dubai should expect highs of 37°C and 38°C, respectively.
As night falls, the atmosphere will turn humid, creating conditions prone to fog or mist by Wednesday morning, particularly in coastal and internal zones. Residents should also be prepared for shifting winds, transitioning from southeasterly to northwesterly. While winds will generally remain light to moderate, they may pick up significantlyâreaching speeds of up to 50kmphânear cloud formations, which could lead to blowing dust. Despite these shifts, maritime conditions are set to remain calm, with slight sea states expected in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
