Paid Parking Expansion in Al Ain

Tue, Oct 20, 2026(1h ago)UAE

Starting October 26, Abu Dhabi Mobility is introducing paid parking across three additional sectors in Al Ain. This move is part of a broader strategy to improve parking availability and streamline traffic flow for residents, commuters, and visitors alike. To use these spaces, motorists will be charged a standard rate of Dh2 per hour, and all transactions can be managed conveniently through the official Darb mobile application.

This update follows the recent rollout of the "Free Flow" parking system by Q Mobility, which operates under the supervision of the Integrated Transport Centre. This modern, ticketless approach eliminates the need for physical parking meters by automatically deducting fees from a user’s Darb wallet. Officials are encouraging drivers to keep their digital wallets sufficiently topped up to ensure a seamless experience and to prevent any potential fines. The service remains active around the clock, with a daily cap of Dh15 for those utilizing the spaces for an entire 24-hour period.
