UAE Weather Forecast: Rain and Dust Expected to Persist
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted that the rainy conditions currently affecting the UAE will continue through Wednesday, October 21. While the morning is expected to be fair to partly cloudy, convective clouds are likely to develop in the east by the afternoon, spreading rainfall toward internal and western regions. As night falls, humidity levels will climb, potentially leading to mist formation in coastal and inland areas by Thursday morning.
Residents should also prepare for variable winds blowing from the southeast and northeast. While these winds will generally remain light to moderate, they are expected to pick up speed near cloud formations, reaching gusts of up to 50 km/hr and stirring up dust. Despite the unsettled weather, maritime conditions remain stable, with slight seas anticipated in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman. Temperatures in major hubs like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah are forecasted to peak between 38ºC and 39ºC, with cooler lows ranging from 27ºC to 28ºC.
