UAE Leaders Lead Nationwide Eid Al-Adha Prayers
On Wednesday morning, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan led the nation in observing Eid Al-Adha prayers at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. Joined by top officials and members of the royal family, the President listened to a sermon delivered by Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Darei, which focused on the virtues of sincerity, loyalty, and the importance of integrity in nation-building. Following the solemn service, the President exchanged warm greetings with fellow worshippers and gathered to pay respects to the memory of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
Across the Emirates, rulers and crown princes similarly joined their communities to mark the holy occasion. From Dubai’s Zabeel Grand Mosque to the mosques of Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, and Umm Al Qaiwain, local leaders performed prayers alongside citizens and residents. These gatherings underscored a spirit of national unity and shared celebration, as officials and community members alike came together to pray for the continued stability and prosperity of the country.
