Hit-and-Run Driver Apprehended Following Ras Al Khaimah Collision
Ras Al Khaimah authorities successfully apprehended a driver who fled the scene after striking three women in the early hours of Tuesday. The incident took place in the Al Jazeera Al Hamra district around 1:30 am, prompting an immediate emergency response. Emergency teams were dispatched to the site as soon as the collision was reported to the operations room to provide aid to the victims.
A collaborative effort between the Traffic and Patrol Department, the Al Jazeera Al Hamra Comprehensive Police Station, and the Criminal Investigations Department led to a swift resolution of the case. Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Abdulrahman Al Samaan confirmed that investigators were able to track down and arrest the suspect within just five hours of the accident. The individual, who is also of Asian nationality, has since been transferred to the appropriate legal authorities to face formal charges for his actions.
