CBSE Opens Re-evaluation Portal for Class 12 Results

Sat, May 30, 2026(90d ago)UAE

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has confirmed that its portal for result verification and answer book re-evaluation will officially go live on June 1, 2026. This initiative is designed to provide students with a clear and seamless path to challenge their results if they believe their performance was not accurately reflected. Students who need further guidance or technical support during this process are encouraged to reach out through the official CBSE Tele-Counselling Helpline or via the board's dedicated email support channels.

This year, there has been a noticeable surge in re-evaluation requests from students across India and the UAE. Many attribute this trend to the introduction of the new On-Screen Marking system, where educators evaluate digital scans of answer scripts rather than physical copies. Because many students felt their results did not meet expectations, the volume of appeals has risen significantly compared to previous years. To accommodate these concerns, the board recently extended the deadline for obtaining scanned copies of answer scripts to May 25, allowing students more time to review their work before proceeding with formal re-evaluation.
