UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has officially conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The message was sent in response to the passing of Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, who had previously served his nation with distinction as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Industry.

In a show of solidarity and respect, the leadership of the UAE also joined in sending their sympathies to the Qatari Emir. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, along with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, both issued separate messages to honor the memory of the late official and express their support to the Qatari royal family.
