UAE experiences a refreshing dip in temperatures

Sun, May 31, 2026(3h ago)UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted pleasant weather conditions across the UAE today, bringing a welcome respite for residents. While the overall outlook remains fair, meteorologists have noted a tangible drop in temperatures, particularly noticeable along the coastal regions. Despite this cooling trend, parts of the country will still see intense heat throughout the afternoon, with Abu Dhabi hitting highs of 41°C and Dubai reaching up to 38°C.

Wind patterns are expected to be light to moderate, originating from the southwesterly to northwesterly directions at speeds ranging between 10 and 25 kmph. However, locals should be prepared for occasional gusts that could ramp up to 35 kmph. As for maritime activities, sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf are predicted to range from slight to moderate, while the Oman Sea will remain calm, offering stable conditions for coastal waters.
