UAE Welcomes Hajj Pilgrims Home with Warm Reception
Dubai Airports recently turned the return of Hajj pilgrims into a heartfelt celebration, greeting those arriving home with a special commemorative passport stamp featuring the message, "The UAE welcomes the return of pilgrims." To mark the emotional occasion, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai teamed up with local children to surprise the travelers with fresh flowers and thoughtful gifts. This initiative was designed to honor the spiritual significance of their journey and ensure that the pilgrims felt deeply appreciated the moment they stepped back onto home soil.
Major General Talal Ahmed Al Shangiti emphasized that the gesture reflects the UAEâs core values of hospitality and the nationâs commitment to a human-centered approach to public service. Behind the scenes, airport authorities ensured a seamless arrival process by deploying dedicated lanes and highly trained staff to fast-track entry procedures. By coordinating closely with aviation and border partners, the airport successfully managed the influx of travelers, prioritizing safety and comfort to provide a stress-free homecoming for everyone returning from their pilgrimage.
