Kuwaiti Authorities Apprehend Fugitives Following High-Speed Chase
Kuwaiti security forces have successfully recaptured three inmates who recently escaped from a local correctional facility. The fugitives—Hassan Salem Al-Rashidi, Ali Manahi Al-Subaie, and Ahmed Mohammed Qata—were intercepted while attempting to flee in a red pick-up truck. Following their escape, authorities launched a massive, intelligence-led operation, circulating the men’s identities at all national borders to prevent them from leaving the country. The swift arrest was finalized after a tense, high-speed vehicle pursuit, which was documented by security cameras and released by the Ministry of Interior.
The successful operation was carried out under the direct oversight of Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, who had previously mandated a thorough investigation into the prison breach. Upon their capture, officials discovered that the trio was carrying both their passports and two firearms, indicating a premeditated plan to escape the country. The Ministry has reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining law and order, issuing a stern warning that any attempts to compromise public safety will be met with decisive legal action.
