Tragedy Strikes Mexico City Amid World Cup Celebrations
The excitement surrounding Mexico’s advancement to the World Cup round of 16 turned tragic on Wednesday as massive celebrations in Mexico City ended in fatalities. According to local government officials, a 19-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man lost their lives due to asphyxiation while participating in the crowded festivities.
