Tragedy Strikes in Balochistan: 40 Dead After Bus Plunges into Ditch

A devastating road accident occurred in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province on Friday, resulting in the loss of 40 lives. The passenger bus, which was traveling from Quetta to the capital city of Islamabad, veered off the road and plummeted into a deep ditch, according to reports from local government officials and emergency response teams.

Initial investigations confirmed that there were 48 people on board at the time of the crash. While rescue operations were launched immediately to recover survivors and victims, the incident left eight passengers injured. Authorities are currently managing the aftermath of the crash as the nation mourns the significant loss of life caused by this tragic transport accident.
