According to reports from the semi-official Tasnim news agency, the blaze started just after 5pm local time, quickly sending plumes of thick, dark smoke billowing over the Poldokhtar area. Emergency responders, including firefighters and specialized rescue teams, were immediately dispatched to the site with heavy machinery, but crews initially struggled to reach the heart of the inferno due to the intense scale of the flames and the presence of highly combustible industrial materials.
