Simplified Travel to Saudi Arabia: Your Guide to the New Package Visa
Saudi Arabia has introduced a streamlined "Package Visa" initiative, designed to make tourism more accessible for travelers from seven specific nations: India, Pakistan, Jordan, Egypt, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Mexico. This pilot program eliminates the hassle of traditional, multi-step visa applications by bundling your electronic visa, health insurance, flights, and four-star (or higher) hotel accommodations into a single, comprehensive purchase. By booking through authorized agencies like Reserval or Almosafer, travelers can receive their visa electronically within 48 hours of completing their payment, ensuring a far more efficient start to their journey.
The process is user-friendly, requiring only a booking at least 48 hours before departure for a trip lasting between two and 88 days. The package must meet a minimum value of SAR 4,000 for the first two days, with an additional cost of SAR 1,000 for every extra day. While the visa itself is a single-entry document valid for three months, it grants travelers the freedom to visit any city in the Kingdom, including Makkah and Madinah, once they arrive. It is important to note that because the visa is tied directly to the travel package, any modifications to your itinerary must be handled exclusively through your chosen provider, and cancelling the package will automatically revoke the visa.
