Beyond the index, Pakistan is taking active steps to improve travel convenience for its citizens through bilateral agreements. A significant development includes the recent agreement with the UAE to introduce "pre-immigration clearance" for Pakistani travelers. Initially launching as a pilot project in Karachi, this initiative aims to streamline the travel process by allowing passengers to complete necessary immigration and security checks before departing Pakistan.
