UAE Denounces Iran's Latest Aggression Against Gulf Neighbors
The United Arab Emirates has issued a strong condemnation of the recent wave of missile and drone strikes launched by Iran against Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan. Officials in the UAE labeled these actions a blatant disregard for the sovereignty of these nations and warned that such provocations pose a dangerous threat to the broader stability and security of the region. Standing in full solidarity with its neighbors, the UAE has voiced its support for any necessary measures these countries take to protect their borders and citizens from further aggression.
The attacks have caused significant disruption, particularly in Kuwait, where Iranian projectiles targeted critical infrastructure, including oil facilities and utility sites, leading to fires and multiple injuries among first responders and energy workers. While Kuwaiti authorities successfully intercepted many of the threats, debris caused collateral damage in residential zones and forced the temporary closure of the country's airspace, impacting major travel operations. Similarly, Bahraini defense forces reported intercepting several hostile aerial threats, while Jordan’s military confirmed the destruction of four drones that breached its airspace, though fortunately, those incidents resulted in no casualties. These escalations mark a volatile turn in regional relations, further testing the fragile ceasefire that had been in place since the conflict reignited earlier this year.
