According to US Central Command (Centcom), the casualties occurred on Friday as American troops and their local partners worked to repel the incoming assault. In addition to the fatalities and the missing soldier, four other personnel were wounded and subsequently transported to Jordanian hospitals for urgent medical care.

Meanwhile, Jordanian defense forces were active throughout the early hours of Saturday, working to neutralize the threat within their borders. Officials confirmed that national air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed 10 Iranian missiles that had breached Jordanian airspace. A military source cited by the Jordan News Agency emphasized that these defensive measures were executed to maintain national security and protect civilians from the escalating regional hostilities.
