This walkout sets a contentious tone for the upcoming month-long session, where the opposition is already gearing up to challenge the ruling NDA government on several fronts, including recent exam paper leak scandals and the forceful relocation of activist Sonam Wangchuk during his hunger strike. While the BJP-led coalition continues to consolidate its numbers—now claiming the support of 329 Lok Sabha members—it remains shy of the two-thirds majority required to push through significant constitutional amendments, ensuring that the legislative path ahead will be anything but smooth.
