The movement, initially a small online satire project, has evolved into the most significant challenge to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s administration since 2014. Fueled by deep-seated frustrations over unemployment and systemic corruption in examinations, the protests have forced the closure of multiple Delhi metro stations and disrupted public life. Although the government has proposed legislative amendments to penalize those responsible for leaks, the protesters remain skeptical, insisting that meaningful, deep-rooted reform is necessary to ensure the integrity of the examination system rather than just punitive measures.
