CJP Ends NEET Protests Following Government Agreement

Sun, Jul 26, 2026(45d ago)World

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has officially called off its ongoing agitations following a successful round of negotiations with government ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh. Spokespersons Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka confirmed that the decision was made in good faith, with the expectation that the government will honor its commitments within the established timeframes. This breakthrough follows the recent resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, a primary objective that had served as a central pillar of the protesters' demands.

Under the terms of the agreement, the government has committed to dropping existing police cases against demonstrators and providing financial compensation to the families affected by the NEET paper leak. Officials confirmed that police reports filed against activists across various states will be addressed, with a formal written guarantee expected to be provided to the CJP shortly. Furthermore, while the government is finalizing the specific amount, they have pledged to offer the maximum possible "honorary compensation" to the victims' families. Looking ahead, both parties have agreed to reconvene in four weeks to deliberate on a broader five-point charter aimed at implementing necessary educational reforms.
