Saudi Arabia Recalls Second Flying Tiger Product Over Safety Concerns

Tue, May 19, 2026(94d ago)World

The Saudi Ministry of Commerce has officially issued a recall for the "Children’s Tea Set Game" sold by Flying Tiger Copenhagen, citing a significant choking hazard. Approximately 537 units produced between 2024 and 2025, identified by item number 3058431, have been flagged because small components on the teapot lid and storage case can detach during use. Parents are being urged to immediately take these sets away from children and return them to the store to claim a full refund, ensuring no further risks occur.

This latest action follows a previous safety alert in April involving over 6,000 Flying Tiger glass drinking cups, which were pulled from shelves due to dangerous levels of lead and cadmium found in their decorative prints. Much like the recent tea set recall, health officials emphasized that these products pose long-term health risks if used repeatedly. Consumers who still possess any of the affected glassware—specifically those with product numbers 3060031, 3057450, 3062993, 3052986, 3053912, or 3055350—are encouraged to stop using them and contact retailers immediately to secure their refunds.
