Kuwaiti law enforcement recently took down a clandestine marijuana cultivation operation located in the Doha region, leading to the arrest of a local citizen. Following a period of careful surveillance and investigative work, officers raided the property and discovered a significant stash of illicit substances, including 6 kilograms of marijuana and 250 grams of hashish. The raid also uncovered specialized cultivation equipment and over 17,800 Kuwaiti dinars in cash. Footage released by the Ministry of Interior revealed that the suspect had attempted to hide the drugs in various containers tucked away behind clothing in bedroom closets.

Just days earlier, the General Directorate for Drug Control successfully apprehended 23 individuals across 12 separate incidents involving the trafficking and possession of narcotics. During these coordinated sweeps, police recovered various psychotropic substances along with distribution tools like precision scales and packaging materials.
