A devastating fire broke out at a residential building in Ramli Housing on Tuesday, claiming the lives of a 27-year-old mother and her three young children, aged five, three, and one. The father, Hassan Abdul Aal Al Otaifi, was away from home when the incident occurred and was later hospitalized in a state of shock upon discovering the loss of his family. King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has since reached out to the grieving father to offer his heartfelt condolences for the heart-wrenching loss.

Emergency responders from the Civil Defence acted quickly to contain the flames and secure the building, ensuring that no further spread occurred. While other residents were safely evacuated and moved to temporary housing, the victims were tragically beyond saving by the time teams arrived.
