Karoline Leavitt to Rejoin Pro-Trump PAC After White House Exit

Sat, Aug 22, 2026(1h ago)World

Karoline Leavitt, the outgoing White House press secretary, has confirmed that she will return to the pro-Trump super PAC, Maga Inc., once she steps down from her government role at the end of this month. At just 28 years old, Leavitt made history as the youngest individual to hold the prestigious press secretary position. She previously served with the political action committee between 2022 and 2024 before transitioning into her current role within the Trump administration.

Leavitt, who recently welcomed her second child in May, initially cited a desire to prioritize her family life as the primary reason for her resignation earlier this August. Despite her upcoming departure, she plans to remain active in the political sphere, with appearances scheduled alongside the former president at a Republican convention in Dallas this September. Meanwhile, the search for her replacement is already well underway, with Donald Trump noting an unprecedented volume of interest in the high-profile vacancy.
