Authorities in Bahrain have launched an investigation following a disturbing report of animal abuse at a local stable. The incident came to light after a stable owner discovered multiple injuries on two of his horses and promptly alerted the Southern Hamad Town Police Station. Upon reviewing surveillance footage from the facility, investigators identified a staff member as the perpetrator responsible for the violent acts.

According to the Northern Governorate Prosecution, the worker admitted to the crimes after being confronted with the video evidence. The investigation revealed that the man had attacked one horse with a knife while throwing stones at the second, causing significant injuries to both animals. The suspect is now in pre-trial detention and will face a criminal trial as the legal proceedings continue.
