Oman is making significant strides in infrastructure with the Sultan Faisal bin Turki Road project, which is now 76% complete. Valued at 151 million Omani Riyals, this 72km-long route connects Khasab, Lima, and Dibba through three distinct segments. Once finished, the road is set to revolutionize travel in the region, slashing the journey between Khasab and Dibba to just 55 minutes, while the commute between Lima and Khasab will drop from over two hours to a mere 20 minutes. This major development is expected to boost local investment and streamline connectivity across the Musandam governorate.

Beyond infrastructure improvements, the Sultanate continues to cement its reputation as a premier tourism destination. To encourage more visitors, the government recently introduced a free 14-day tourist visa for select nationalities, allowing for easy extensions to suit longer stays. These efforts complement Oman’s natural allure, ranging from the dramatic peaks of the Hajar Mountains to the famous lush, mist-covered landscapes of Salalah during the Khareef season.
