Health officials in Gaza reported a heartbreaking day of violence on Sunday as a series of Israeli airstrikes resulted in the deaths of multiple civilians, including young children. In one incident, a father and his eight-year-old daughter were killed when their vehicle was struck in western Gaza City. While the Israeli military stated that the operation was intended to target a Hamas militant, the attack left at least six others wounded. Later that same day, additional strikes near a telecommunications facility and an Israeli tank shelling of a school sheltering displaced families claimed the lives of two more people, including a seven-year-old girl.
