NEET UG 2026 Examination Cancellation: Steps to Claim Your Fee Refund

Fri, May 22, 2026(46d ago)World

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially opened the refund window for candidates affected by the cancellation of the NEET UG 2026 examination. The exam, which was originally scheduled for May 3, was called off following serious concerns regarding the integrity of the testing process raised by central agencies and law enforcement. To compensate students, the NTA is now providing a mechanism for applicants to reclaim their examination fees.

To initiate the refund, candidates must log in to the official NEET UG 2026 portal using their existing credentials and navigate to the dedicated refund link. The submission window is open from May 22 through May 27, 2026, closing at 11:50 PM IST. Applicants will need to provide accurate banking information, including the account holder's name, bank name, IFSC code, and account number; uploading a copy of a cancelled cheque is also recommended to avoid errors. Please ensure all details are correct before submitting, as the NTA has stated that no modifications will be allowed once the form is processed.
