Search Efforts Underway Following Disappearance of Medical Flight
The U.S. Coast Guard has confirmed the discovery of a debris field belonging to a medical transport plane that vanished early Saturday morning while en route from Bermuda to Boston. The Gulfstream G100, operated by the Canada-based Latitude Air Ambulance, lost contact with air traffic control around 1:30 a.m. Rescuers are still actively searching for the six individuals who were on board the aircraft at the time of the incident.
According to company spokesperson Clarence Togeretz, the flight manifest included two pilots, two medical professionals, a patient, and a family member, consisting of four Canadian nationals and two Bermudian nationals. The Coast Guard has committed to continuing the recovery operation throughout the night and intends to provide further information during a press briefing scheduled for Sunday morning.
