Philippine Airlines Extends Riyadh Flight Suspensions
Philippine Airlines has officially extended the suspension of its flights between Manila and Riyadh through November 29. The flag carrier cited ongoing security concerns at King Khalid International Airport as the primary reason for keeping these routes grounded. Originally announced last week, the cancellation of flights PR654 and PR655 remains in effect while the airline continues to evaluate the safety of the airport environment.
In the meantime, the airline is keeping a close watch on the situation and has promised to share further updates as they become available. Despite the disruptions in Saudi Arabia, Josh Vasquez, the regional head for EMEA and ISC, confirmed that the airline’s services to Dubai and Doha remain unaffected and are continuing to operate according to their normal schedules.
