A heartbreaking tragedy unfolded in Peshawar, Pakistan, this Thursday when a school roof suddenly collapsed, resulting in the deaths of 17 young students and their teacher. According to reports from the Lady Reading Hospital, all of the children who lost their lives were under the age of 13. Hospital spokesperson Mohammad Asim confirmed that the victims were pronounced dead upon arrival, alongside over a dozen others who sustained injuries during the building’s structural failure.
