Indian Embassy Provides Support Following Dammam Airport Tragedy
The Indian Embassy in Riyadh has confirmed that it is actively communicating with the family of an Indian national who tragically lost his life during the recent attack at Dammam airport. Officials are coordinating the necessary arrangements to ensure the victim's remains are repatriated to India as quickly as possible. Regarding those wounded in the same incident, the embassy noted that one individual has already been released from medical care, and the second survivor is scheduled to be discharged shortly.
This incident is part of a series of security challenges affecting Indian expatriates in the region. Recent reports indicate that while several individuals injured in attacks at the Shaybah oil field and Riyadh Airport continue to recover, a number of victims have already been cleared to leave the hospital. Currently, some patients remain under medical supervision, with two individuals still receiving intensive care and others recovering in regular wards. The embassy continues to monitor these cases closely to provide ongoing assistance to those impacted by these events.
