Bahrain to Preserve National Loyalty Records Following Recent Regional Tensions

Mon, Jun 1, 2026(45d ago)World

The Bahraini Ministry of Information has launched a new initiative to archive official documents and statements that express public loyalty to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the government led by Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. By collecting these records from various community groups, organizations, and institutions, the government aims to create a permanent historical archive that underscores the long-standing bond between the monarchy and its citizens. These materials will serve as a testament to the nation’s heritage and its enduring political unity throughout its history.

In addition to celebrating national pride, the collection effort is intended to document Bahrain's official stance and societal response during recent Iranian attacks. These records are being gathered to ensure that future generations have access to an accurate account of the country’s resilience during this period. The ministry will be accepting submissions at its headquarters from June 1 to June 10, between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm, where all items will be processed and preserved using professional archival standards.
