Dubai Malls Extend Hours for Ramadan Nights

With the commencement of Ramadan on March 1, malls in Dubai will extend their operating hours into the late night, enhancing the shopping experience during this holy month. The initiative, organized by Brand Dubai in collaboration with the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, aims to foster community and togetherness. Residents and visitors can engage in a variety of festive activities designed to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan. These include cultural entertainment, pop-up markets, and community iftar and suhoor gatherings that showcase diverse culinary offerings.

Throughout Ramadan, families and friends can enjoy weekend fireworks displays, exclusive shopping deals, and special offers at iconic hotels and attractions that remain open all day. Notable events include fireworks at Al Seef on March 1 and 8, followed by Dubai Festival City Mall on March 15, culminating at Bluewaters Island and The Beach on March 22. Additionally, Ramadan Reflections will feature stunning light and sound projections at Al Seef and Dubai Festival City Mall.

The atmosphere will be further enriched with roaming cultural entertainment such as BuTbaila performances and traditional music from Oud and Qanoon artists at various locations including Mirdif City Centre and Mall of the Emirates. The vibrant Ramadan markets will transform the city into a lively celebration of culture and cuisine, offering unique shopping experiences throughout the month.

A highlight this year is the inaugural ‘Ramadan at the Park’ event at Zabeel Park Amphitheatre from March 6 to 23. This inclusive experience will feature a diverse range of culinary delights for iftar and suhoor, along with cultural showcases, live performances, and family-friendly activities. The marketplace will offer handcrafted goods while immersive experiences like storytelling and calligraphy will engage attendees of all ages.

Hai Ramadan at Expo City Dubai will run until March 27, featuring cultural activities and special dining experiences under the Al Wasl Plaza dome. Meanwhile, Ramadan Wonders at Global Village will present a vibrant shopping experience across numerous pavilions showcasing global traditions. The Ramadan District Market at Jumeirah Emirates Towers will return with free entry from March 8 to 23, promoting cultural entertainment alongside unique shopping opportunities.

The Ripe Market will host special activations every weekend with over 100 vendors offering various workshops and dining options. Lastly, the popular Ramadan Street Food Festival in Karama promises a culinary hub featuring diverse cuisines in a festive ambiance. Shoppers can also benefit from exclusive offers while enjoying community festivities throughout this special month.
