Flowers at the Dubai Miracle Garden (DMG) are once again in full bloom as the popular family theme park reopens for its 13th season on Saturday, September 28, 2024. This year, DMG has made adjustments to its entry fees, particularly benefiting UAE residents. Adults and children can now enter the floral paradise for Dh60, a reduction of Dh5 from last year’s price of Dh65. Children under three years old can enter for free. Conversely, ticket prices for tourists and non-UAE residents have increased by Dh5, bringing the cost to Dh100 for adults and Dh85 for children, with the same free entry policy for toddlers.
DMG has announced that online bookings will commence on September 28, allowing visitors to secure their tickets in advance. The garden is renowned as the largest natural flower garden in the world, showcasing over 150 million flowers from approximately 120 varieties each season. Visitors can expect a variety of themed displays inspired by popular events and characters, including a beloved installation featuring the Smurfs.
One of DMG’s standout attractions is a mock-up of the Emirates A380 aircraft, which holds a Guinness World Record for being covered in more than 500,000 fresh flowers and live plants. Other notable features include the whimsical Umbrella Tunnel and the serene Lake Park, both designed to celebrate nature’s beauty and creativity.
Located in Dubai Land, DMG first opened its doors on Valentine’s Day in 2013. For this season, the garden will operate daily from 9 AM to 9 PM on weekdays and extend its hours to 9 AM to 11 PM on weekends and public holidays. This schedule allows families ample time to explore the vibrant floral displays and enjoy various attractions.
In addition to its existing offerings, DMG has introduced a new mini-golf area near Entrance 3, adding another layer of fun for visitors of all ages. The park continually evolves each season with fresh floral arrangements and sculptures, ensuring that even repeat visitors can experience something new with every visit.
As Dubai transitions into cooler weather, several outdoor attractions are also reopening. Alongside DMG, other popular destinations such as Dubai Safari Park and Hatta Wadi Hub are set to welcome guests back as winter approaches. The reopening of these venues highlights Dubai’s commitment to providing diverse outdoor experiences for both residents and tourists.
