The Fathers’ Endowment campaign has achieved remarkable success, raising an impressive Dh3.304 billion in donations since its inception. Launched during Ramadan to honor fathers in the UAE, this initiative aims to establish a sustainable endowment fund focused on providing healthcare and treatment for those in need. The campaign has garnered support from over 160,560 contributors, including individuals, businesses, and both public and private sector organizations. This overwhelming response reflects the campaign’s launch by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The campaign’s objectives extend beyond addressing immediate health needs; it also seeks to enhance the quality of life and overall well-being of vulnerable communities. By fostering stability and promoting broader societal development, the initiative contributes significantly to the nation’s humanitarian efforts. Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Secretary-General of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), highlighted that these results surpass initial targets, reflecting the profound impact of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s Ramadan campaigns.

These initiatives have sparked a humanitarian movement within the UAE, inspiring generosity and reinforcing the nation’s global leadership in charitable and humanitarian efforts. Al Gergawi emphasized that the campaign supports vulnerable populations by addressing critical health needs, directly impacting their quality of life and ability to contribute to community development. The initiative offers new hope by effectively addressing medical and health needs.

Donations to the Fathers’ Endowment campaign can be made through multiple channels, including the campaign’s website (Fathersfund.ae), a dedicated call center via the toll-free number (800 4999), and bank transfers in UAE dirham to the campaign’s bank account with Emirates Islamic Bank. Additionally, donations can be made via SMS by sending the word “Father” to specific numbers for Etisalat by e& and du users. Other platforms include the DubaiNow app and Dubai’s community contributions platform Jood (Jood.ae).

The campaign’s success underscores the UAE’s commitment to humanitarian causes, reinforcing its position as a global leader in charitable initiatives. As the campaign continues to welcome donations, it remains a testament to the nation’s generosity and dedication to improving lives.
