Global Village, Dubai’s premier multicultural family destination, is set to transform into a ‘Home of Ramadan Wonders’ during the holy month. The park will extend its operating hours, opening from 5pm to 1am on weekdays and until 2am on weekends, allowing visitors to enjoy iftar and suhoor experiences. The destination will be adorned with stunning Ramadan-themed decorations, creating a magical atmosphere for guests.
A highlight of the Ramadan offerings is the introduction of Multaqa Global Village, a free-of-charge seating area designed to bring families and friends together. Located between the Main Stage and Dragon Lake, this majlis-style space features cozy floor cushions, low tables, and festoon lights, offering a perfect setting for socializing and enjoying meals from the park’s 250+ dining options.
Entertainment during Ramadan will include the Arabesque Orchestra, featuring 35 musicians performing soulful melodies, along with Oud, Nay, Harp, and Violin artists. The traditional Tannoura show will also captivate audiences. For younger visitors, a puppet show called ‘The Secret of the Lantern’ will be presented at the Kids’ Theatre, teaching values of kindness and compassion.
Global Village is introducing a Ramadan Step Challenge, encouraging guests to explore the park while tracking their steps through the mobile app. Those completing 10,000 steps in a single visit can win exciting prizes. With over 3,500 shopping outlets, visitors can find everything from Ramadan home accessories to traditional foods and spices, making it an ideal destination for Ramadan shopping and celebrations.
