Nahyan’s visit to the palace was part of the “Muezzin Al Freej” initiative, which translates to “The neighbourhood’s caller to prayer.” This program aims to strengthen family roles in fostering national identity and instilling social and Islamic values in new generations. It selects the best voices for reciting the call to prayer among children aged between 6 and 21 years old, thereby fostering a connection between children and mosques.
The initiative has garnered significant attention, with over 300 young Emiratis participating in its first edition in 2024.
