Emirates Rolls Out Retrofitted Boeing 777s to Key Cities

Emirates is set to expand its network of cities served by its refurbished Boeing 777 aircraft. Starting April 14, Seoul, South Korea, will be added to the list, with flights operating three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This marks Seoul as the second East Asian destination to receive Emirates’ upgraded Boeing 777, featuring award-winning Premium Economy and newly configured Business Class cabins.

In addition to Seoul, London Stansted in the UK will also join the roster from May 7. This makes London Stansted the third UK destination for the refurbished Boeing 777, alongside London Heathrow and Edinburgh. Emirates’ European network for these aircraft also includes Brussels, Geneva, Zurich, Vienna, and Athens.

The retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft boasts a four-class configuration, including Emirates’ signature Premium Economy cabins. These cabins have garnered significant attention for their comfort and amenities. Additionally, the aircraft features the new Emirates 777 Business Class, with seats arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration to provide maximum privacy for passengers.

By July 2025, Emirates will offer over 3,150 weekly seats in Premium Economy across six key destinations in Southeast and East Asia. These destinations include Tokyo-Narita, Tokyo-Haneda, Osaka, Singapore, Seoul, and Shenzhen. This expansion underscores Emirates’ commitment to enhancing passenger experience with its upgraded fleet.

The deployment of these refurbished aircraft is part of Emirates’ ongoing retrofit program, which aims to enhance the travel experience across its network. With the inclusion of Seoul and London Stansted, Emirates continues to strengthen its global presence while offering passengers state-of-the-art amenities and comfort.
