UAE Weather Forecast: Rainfall Expected Amid Cloudy Skies

Residents in the UAE are bracing for a potential spell of rain on Wednesday, March 12, as the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts light to moderate rainfall in certain areas. The weather bulletin indicates that partly cloudy to cloudy skies will prevail, with the likelihood of rain being higher over coastal and northern regions. This weather pattern is typical for the region during this time of year, offering a welcome respite from the usual arid conditions.

The NCM also predicts light to moderate northwesterly winds, which may freshen at times and cause blowing dust. Wind speeds are expected to range from 10 km/h to 25 km/h, potentially reaching up to 40 km/h. These conditions can lead to reduced visibility, especially in areas with loose sand.

In response to the anticipated weather conditions, Abu Dhabi Police has issued an alert urging drivers to exercise caution. The police advise motorists to adhere to variable speed limits displayed on electronic signs and guidance boards to ensure safety on the roads. This proactive measure aims to minimize accidents and ensure smooth traffic flow despite the challenging weather.

The sea conditions are also expected to be affected, with the Arabian Gulf experiencing moderate to rough seas at times, while the Oman Sea will see slight to moderate conditions. This could impact maritime activities and travel plans for those heading out to sea.

Temperature-wise, Abu Dhabi is expected to experience a high of 28°C and a low of 24°C, while Dubai will see a high of 30°C and a low of 25°C. Sharjah will have the highest temperature among the three cities, with a high of 32°C and a low of 23°C. These temperature fluctuations are typical for the region during this time of year.

To stay informed about the latest developments and weather updates, residents are encouraged to follow local news sources. This will help them plan their day effectively and stay safe during the rainy weather.
